  • Operate electromechanical shaker systems and understand the function and interaction of their major components
  • Troubleshoot vibration test setups, including control issues, instrumentation problems, and fixture-related concerns
  • Install, configure, and validate accelerometers and other test instrumentation
  • Understand vibration control systems and identify abnormal test or system behavior
  • Work closely with engineering teams to communicate test status, troubleshoot issues, and support successful test execution
  • Work safely around high-voltage systems, high-pressure systems, and cryogenic environments
  • Clearly document and communicate test configurations, observations, issues, and results

About You:

  • 5+ years of hands-on vibration testing experience
  • Strong working knowledge of vibration control systems and vibration test equipment
  • High proficiency with accelerometers, instrumentation, data acquisition, and measurement equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot vibration test setups, control problems, instrumentation, and test fixtures
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory and electrical systems
  • Working knowledge of thermal principles and their impact on hardware and test environments
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with test control, data acquisition, and technical software
  • Strong technical communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working hands-on with complex test hardware in a dynamic test environment

Technical or vocational training is preferred. Aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability hardware testing experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have:

Additional environmental or dynamics testing experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

  • Mechanical shock testing
  • Acceleration testing
  • Acoustic testing
  • Environmental qualification testing of aerospace or flight hardware
  • Test fixture setup, evaluation, or troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting development, qualification, and acceptance test campaigns
