We're looking for a Pricing Strategy Manager to join Procore's Corporate Strategy team. In this role, you'll lead our pricing, packaging, and monetization initiatives across the full Procore portfolio, including our emerging AI offerings. The primary goal of this role is to turn ambiguous commercial questions into rigorous, defensible recommendations that hold up under executive scrutiny, and to make sure every number that reaches a leadership review is sourced, calculated, or explicitly flagged as an assumption.
As a Pricing Strategy Manager, you'll partner with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to move pricing and packaging decisions from hypothesis to approval to execution. Use your structured problem-solving, financial modeling, and executive communication skills to shape how Procore captures value from what we build and buy. If you want hands-on work to drive top line growth and connect everyone in construction, apply today and join our team!
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Pricing & Monetization Strategy and can be based remotely in the US. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:
- Lead pricing and packaging proposals for new products and features from hypothesis through recommendation, in partnership with Product and Finance.
- Build and stress-test the business case behind pricing decisions, including segment-level performance, and migration and monetization sizing.
- Design and run market, competitive, and willingness-to-pay research, including win/loss and price elasticity analysis, to pressure-test pricing hypotheses before they reach leadership.
- Develop monetization models for emerging offerings, including usage-based, hybrid, credit-based, and outcome-based approaches for AI, and assess their implications for the existing customer base.
- Diagnose ambiguous commercial problems end to end, such as why a segment's new-logo motion underperforms, and determine whether the root cause is package design, sales execution, or market fit.
- Translate analysis into a small number of clear, claim-driven recommendations, present them to executive leaders, and defend them under challenge.
- Partner with Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to make sure approved decisions are operationalized and communicated to the field.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, monetization, product strategy, corporate or commercial strategy, or management consulting, with 2+ years inside a pricing or monetization practice at a top-tier strategy firm
- Advanced financial modeling skills, with expert proficiency in Excel and experience building pricing, revenue impact, and unit economics models from scratch.
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative pricing research (e.g., willingness-to-pay studies, conjoint analysis, Van Westendorp, win/loss analysis), and ability to synthesize qualitative inputs, such as call transcripts and field feedback, into clear themes that support recommendations.
- Track record of framing complex, ambiguous problems into clear strategic frameworks and presenting recommendations to senior executives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills, with experience partnering with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing leaders without direct authority.
- Experience with B2B SaaS pricing and usage- or credit-based monetization. Familiarity with B2B SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, net revenue retention, win rate, discount rate) is a plus.
- Curiosity, high agency, and an owner's mindset with a strong bias for action.
