Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and reliable IT Technician to join our on-site IT team in Malmö.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in IT while working in a collaborative game development environment.

This is a highly user-facing role focused on providing first-line technical support to employees and external contractors. You will be responsible for preparing and deploying IT equipment, supporting onboarding activities, resolving day-to-day hardware and software issues, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring users have everything they need to work efficiently.

The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is eager to learn and develop technical skills.

You’ll help us by…

• Providing first-line IT support for employees and external contractors
• Preparing, configuring, and deploying laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Setting up workstations for new hires and support onboarding activities
• Responding to IT support requests via the ticketing system, email, phone, and in person
• Troubleshooting common hardware, software, and peripheral issues
• Escalating complex technical issues to senior IT team members when required
• Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle records
• Installing software and perform routine workstation maintenance
• Supporting meeting rooms, printers, and other office technology
• Assisting with office moves, workstation relocations, and hardware deployments
• Supporting external vendors and contractors with IT-related requests
• Following IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures
• Contributing to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient IT workspace

 

You’re awesome because you have…

• English proficiency (spoken and written) – minimum B2
• Educational background in IT or a related technical field, or equivalent practical knowledge
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems and computer hardware
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, move, and install IT equipment
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider IT team
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Bonus points for...

• Previous experience in an IT support, help desk, or customer service role
• Familiarity with macOS
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Intune
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management or ServiceNow)
